Biography MossyBack Morris Men are a Seattle area dance group that has been presenting Morris dances from the Cotswold region of England for over 30 years.
Biography Morris dancers have celebrated the seasons for hundreds of years in England with music dance, songs and plays. Decked out in ribbons and bells they performed athletic dances with handkerchiefs and sticks to encourage good fortune and fertility for the coming season. The Bridgetown Morris Men keep this age-old tradition alive in Portland. Our shows are an energetic mix of traditional dances, music, songs and plays. Keep an eye out for us, you'll see us dancing around Portland at various events throughout the year.
Biography Renegade Rose was founded in 2002 as a mixed side concentrating on the morris dance traditions from the villages of Adderbury, Litchfield, Bampton and Fieldtown in England's Cotswolds, plus newly developed dances. Our motto is “fun dances danced to good music.” Like many Morris sides, Renegade Rose sings traditional English songs and modern folk tunes for performances. We are ably assisted by a musical team playing accordion, whistle and the occasional drum. Renegade Rose Morris is a member of the Country Dance and Song Society, USA

Biography Sound & Fury Morris & Sword have been dancing around Seattle and the rest of the west coast of North America since the waning days of last century (1999 to be specific). These are dance traditions dating back, well, a long time, from various regions of England. Sound & Fury is proud to bring them to you, residents of the Pacific Northwest!
