  • Biography Cumulus is the project of singer-songwriter Alexandra Niedzialkowski. "We spent many foggy morning with her bedroom EPs, endeared by her sweet lyrics and impressed with her catchy hooks. Now backed by a full band of some serious heavy hitters, Cumulus’ puts on some of the most polished indie pop shows in Seattle...Cumulus’ songs are whip smart, a little sad and insidiously charming ." - Abbey Simmons (Sound on the Sound)

  • Biography Koko and the Sweetmeats was formed in 2009. Initially a solo project for Garett, The Sweetmeats lineup currently consists of Laura Vandercrimp on drums, Andrew Houle on saxophone and vocals and Garett Vandercrimp on guitar and vocals. In 2009 The indestructible Sound of Koko was released, followed up by the full length Foreign Island in 2010 and the Double EP Sacrifice in 2011. “a raw noise that sounds part vintage ’60s rock (think the Kinks, the Animals), part blues (of the frenzied, up-tempo variety, like Screamin’ Jay Hawkins), and entirely, awesomely dynamic.” ERIN K. THOMPSON - Seattle Weekly “Van der Crimp and his drummer wife Laura have been releasing albums under the moniker Koko and the Sweetmeats since Garett decided to move from his native South Africa in 2007. And they might be Seattle's best-kept secret. The duo (who, in the live setting, occasionally double in size with bassist Kieran Smith and Andrew Houle on sax) have gently applied their Kinks and Howlin' Wolf influences to a handful of brilliant and criminally unheard releases.” MARK LORE – Portland Mercury
