  • Biography My name is Peter Williams and am a Seattle native, a local cello performer and the Cello Director at the Suzuki Institute of Seattle. I am a member of the Tacoma Symphony, principal cellist of the Northwest Symphony, and have played and performed with the Bellevue Philharmonic, the Tacoma Opera, the Seattle Choral Company and the Seattle Modern Orchestra amongst many others. Additionally, I have performed with Natalie Cole, Chicago, Alice in Chains, Kenny Rogers, Heart, and have toured wth the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. I founded the Seattle Cello Experiment two years ago which is a cello choir composed of my advanced students. We have given many performances in the area - most recently a Christmas concert at Northgate Mall. Stylistically, we cover many musical genres including classical, heavy metal, pop, fiddling, jazz and perform video game and movie favorites.
