- Biography The Winterlings are an Indie Folk/Americana band based in Port Angeles, Washington. Their debut album, THE ANIMAL GROOM, hit #6 on the ROOTS MUSIC REPORT FOLK CHART and has been getting airplay on over 90 stations, nationwide. Their song "Take Give" was the 3rd most played song on Sirius/XM Radio's The Village in March (2011). KBCS, Bellevue, named THE ANIMAL GROOM as one of the 10 BEST OF 2010. The Winterlings have performed at many festivals, including CMJ’s Music Festival in Manhattan and Northwest Folklife in Seattle.
