- Biography The Cumbieros are a cumbia band from Seattle, WA that started in the spring of 2011 and have grown to 9 members (3 Chileans, 1 Brazilian and 5 Americans) to date. Featuring such instruments as guitar, violin, accordion and horns, The Cumbieros fuse traditional cumbia with ska and rock creating fun, high-energy music that drives everyone to the dance floor. Cumbia is a genre of music that originated in Columbia and is now extremely popular all across Latin America. The Cumbieros hope to help spread the popularity of this music to the Pacific Northwest and beyond with one goal in mind; getting people on the dance floor. Come dance with us! ESO!!!
